Dr Ofer Purim is working as the chief of gastrointestinal malignancy service in the new hospital Assuta Samson Hospital.

He graduated his degree with honors from Szeged University in Hungary.

He had his residency in Davidoff cancer center in beilinson hospital and worked as a senior physician in Davidoff center in the gastrointestinal unit.

Dr. Purim specialized in treatment of rare tumors of the GI tract as GIST and neuroendocrine tumors.

Dr. Purim is very active in participation in research and served as primary investigator and sub investigator in dozens of trials including locals and international.

Dr. Purim published 36 manuscripts in in peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Purim is a member of the executive committee of the Israeli society for oncology and radiotherapy.

Dr. Purim is gave numerous lectures to physician nurses and for the public.
